Vacation cabin near Mt Hood ski areas Our vacation rental cabin is nestled on the Southside of Oregon's Mt Hood, in the Village of Government Camp.

Located just one hour from Portland, this vacation cabin is within walking distance of a variety of summer and winter activities. In the Summer and Fall months, bike and hike the many trails within walking distance of our mountain chalet or drive to one of the nearby lakes for boating and fishing activities. If golf is your game, a course is a 15 minute drive away (no pun intended). In the winter months, spend the day skiing, snowboarding, tubing, or just pain old relaxing in front of the glass front woodstove; this of course after soaking in the open air hot tub under the stars. Snow shoeing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are also possibilities, with local rental shops ready to accommodate your needs.
